      Some of the most important areas of service that we expect when we were looking for a live sound company are reliability, excellence, and professionalism of character. I believe that Musically Speaking truly provided each of these fundamental elements to our live sound events.

   I am most impressed with the fact that Musically Speaking always arrives well in advance of set up time for our events. They do sound check and are constantly tweaking, adjusting, focused, and attentive during the whole show. Musically Speaking always tries to be calm and respectful to the bands themselves, letting them know that they are on the same team.

In other words, no egos. It’s very common for bands to have an attitude towards the sound engineer in the beginning of sound set ups because of how many times the artists have been burnt, which leads to some uncomfortable verbal exchanges that affects the show itself. Stephen and his team knows it takes patience and open communication to make sure that the band has a good time and most importantly, feel completely comfortable on stage. This reflects in all our events. Ventnor Special Events is extremely satisfied with Musically Speaking and look forward to a continued working relationship with Stephen and his team for all our events.

Secret Service Band

My name is Craig Phillips, I am one of founding members of Secret Service Band. We’ve been in business since 1983 and have been one of the top performing acts in the area for almost 40 years. One of the keys to our success and longevity has been our choice of a sound/ production company.

For the past 4 years we’ve hired Stephen Childs, Musically Speaking Live. When we were searching for a new sound company we were looking for a reliable working partner, excellence in sound production and sound equipment, and in performance dependability.

We all know as performers you cannot be late for a wedding or not be prepared for a First Dance. With Musically Speaking we don’t have any of those worries, they always arrive well in advance of the scheduled set up time and do a comprehensive sound check and then conscientiously adjust the sound as room dynamics demand. Swing That Cat

Swing That Cat has contracted and worked with Musically Speaking Live as our live sound provider several times over the last 6 years. Stephen Childs and his team are easy to work with and bring a high degree of professionalism, and quality equipment that help make sure we sound at our best to entertain our audiences.

As an 8-piece show band with horns, Swing That Cat requires a level of sonic knowledge and focus throughout the show, and Musically Speaking Live has proved to be up to the task, whether we are playing in a municipal park, on the beach, or in a venue.
